At Camilla we pride ourselves on delivering person-centred care in a number of ways. One example is helping a resident, who was feeling particular isolated from family members living overseas, to learn to Skype. She now enjoys regular contact with her loved ones.
Residents are encouraged to maintain their favourite hobbies and pastimes. We also help them to learn new skills including singing, taking up a musical instrument such as piano, or drawing.
There are no set times to waking up, eating meals or getting dressed. Residents choose exactly what they want to do and when, including what to wear and how to spend their day.
