Tourmaline Make Santa Dash for Georgia
November 28th 2016
30+ runners, including staff from Tourmaline, took to Southampton's streets yesterday to take part in a new Santa Fun Run that's arrived in the city.
Gracing the occasion in full Christmas get up, including beards and red jumpsuits, staff braved the cold making this a moment to remember - running collectively for Naomi House Hospice, and in memory of Georgia, a former resident at Tourmaline who died this year aged 15.
Whilst many chose to manage the race at a walking pace, their spirit was at fever pitch and the outcome was something quite special. A staggering £2500 was raised for Naomi House, which will support the service immeasurably over the Christmas period!
Well done to everyone who came together, including staff and Georgia's family. An amazing gesture performed by you all!
